We all agree that a well behaved dog is a pleasure to be around, while a pet with poor habits can be an embarrassment, as well as a liability.  At Kelly’s K-9 College it is our philosophy that the heart of the training lies with you; the owner.  Everyone wants a well behaved pet and by helping the owner understand the ways of their dog, we can help these owners achieve their goal of an obedient, well-mannered member of the family.

Annoying little habits can become huge setbacks in the life of a household with an untrained pet.  If not properly addressed, these irritations can turn into exasperations and the results can be devastating to the family and the pet.  Pulling on leash, jumping, unnecessary barking, biting, running away, destructive chewing and poor housebreaking habits: these are just a few of the behaviors that can result in a family wanting to find a new home for the pet or relegating him to a life in the backyard.  This is no way for a pet to live!  At Kelly’s K-9 College we suggest “Don’t get rid of the dog…get rid of the bad manners!”  With a little time and patience, we will help you turn your canine into the perfect companion.
